Let’s not be surprised when news started to circulate that Nvidia is working on budget variant GTX 950 and GTX 950Ti which one can easily say that it will replace Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 and 750 Ti.

According to reports, both the budget variant Maxwell cards will be using GM206-300 GPU core. It is said that GeForce GTX 950 and GTX 950Ti will be featuring lesser stream processors compared to GeForce GTX 960. Both the rumoured variants will be using 2GB GDDR5 with a 128-bit memory bus. Not much is known about it, including reference variant’s dimensions.
As Maxwell’s native feature, GeForce GTX 950 and GTX 950Ti will provide H.265 HEVC encoding and decoding function, along with HDMI 2.0, DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.3 and OpenCL 1.1. It is safe to say that Nvidia would price around US$ 150 in order to help maintain a good distance from GTX 960’s price tag and to compete with certain AMD Radeon 3xx series graphic cards.
